The Gallery at Lighthouse, Groton
The Gallery at Lighthouse, Groton’s January show,
“EVOLUTION, Rising from the Ashes”, features Ralph
Levesque’s Sculpture, Painting, and Mixed Media.
Ralph states; “My works are like artifacts from some
distant past civilization and places unknown – pointing to
new yet to be discovered worlds and realms.  The element
of time revealing past and future cycles of the universe
are revealed and appear in recognized, yet forgotten
memories.  I have been granted a gift: a child-like mind,
seeing the constructive patterns, the rhythmic hidden
constructs in nature and seeing the spiritual things that it
really is.”
The Gallery at Lighthouse, Groton first met Mr. Levesque
more than a year ago when he graciously agreed to have
his work as our first exhibition.  Since then he has
maintained contact with us and his latest show,
“EVOLUTION, Rising from the Ashes”, traces his personal
development through several phases and life’s
milestones.   Ralph earned his BFA and MS in Art
Education from the University of Bridgeport in
Connecticut.  His work is included in private and corporate
collections, he has had dozens of solo exhibits, and won
prizes for his paintings and sculptures in exhibit from
1964.  Mr. Levesque currently resides in Madison, CT.
This exhibit starts on January 8th with a reception from 5 –
8 pm, and continues through February 1st.  The Gallery at
Lighthouse, Groton is located at 744 Long Hill Road,
